As a tribute to Rememberance Day we created Flanders Field this week in our studio. While we explored different mediums to create this magnificent scenery we also discussed what this day is about (in kiddie terms).
This week our lil crafters have been working hard creating decors for Halloween! I'm not sure who had more fun doing these ... the little or the big crafters?
We all built our dream homes this week. It require a bit of muscles and brain power but we ended up successfully building some lovely two stories homes! There were moments of chaos and confusion but also a lot of laughter.
It was raining last week so we took that to our advantage and got the kiddies to draw up some pictures before leaving the studio. They were asked to let the rain drop on their pictures and observe the effects it had on their drawings. It's always fun to incorporate nature to our crafts. it is a great gateway for beautiful conversations to ignite wonders and creativity!
This little light of mine
I'm going to let it shine. These paper lanterns are extra special since it was a family effort to create such one of a kind lanterns! Just in time to celebrate the moon festival in a few days! We've paid a visit to the National Gallery and the Children's Museum in our Capital city. Very fun, very inspiring and very dizzy. Can't wait to work on some new projects with my lil testers!
After a while the pile of masterpieces adds up ... Instead of sitting in a pile isn't it better to turn it into something even craftier?
