After a bit of traveling we are back at work testing recipes. Today's test was not scheduled but it was a pleasant surprise. I really liked this dough, it's so nice and soft and best of all its edible! We will definitely be using this in our studio classes!

We've paid a visit to the National Gallery and the Children's Museum in our Capital city. Very fun, very inspiring and very dizzy. Can't wait to work on some new projects with my lil testers!
As our studio approaches its opening, signage is probably useful to promote it ... thanks to my tester, he has volunteered his artistic talents to design our temporary signage! Nice right?
My testers and I were reading a storybook and the next thing we know we were looking all over the house for materials ... and we put on our mechanical engineer hats on and built a car. I wonder if we can have a special studio session for this kind of fun with older kiddos? Not too shaby for 2.5 hours of work!
So we were trying to figure out a good recipe for bubble paint. The recipe didn't create vibrant paint results but it wasn't a complete failure since my testers still had a blast!
What's the right age for elastic bands looming? Today we sat down our 3.5 year old down and had a go at it. After an hour of concentration and support he successfully made his first fishtail bracelet. Hurray!
After a while the pile of masterpieces adds up ... Instead of sitting in a pile isn't it better to turn it into something even craftier?
